T3 Player: A Simpler Way to Listen to Your Music. App Reviews

52 add

You can add more than one track at a time

I have no idea what other people are saying in these reviews.( the reviews may be for an old version) I am completely able to add music as many tracks at a time as I like. True, you cant add playlists( might be a bug) which I can understand the annoyance of. While it works, I dont really like using it, I feel like I am missing the point or something. Why would I use this instead of my music library?

How do I get my 99 cents back?

Looks neat. Great design. Doesnt work. It plays one song and wont do anything else... I would like my money back.

This is trash

Do not buy this. It is trash

Looks nice, doesnt play nice.

Cannot import existing playlists. No iTunes match support (I dont keep music on my phone). Music is cumbersome to import.

I love the design.

Its good if you just want to play your music beautifully. Its obviously not meant to be your primary music player, which is why Im giving it 5 stars: its gorgeous.

Bugs fixed

Updated version appears to have corrected the bugs we all encountered in the first release Initial Review: I agree that there are bugs which hopefully will be fixed as the app is otherwise a nice way to select items to be played. As for the bugs, playlists, composers, genre, and compilations seem not to be discoverable by this app. But as above, hopefully the developers will fix this!

Great design

Love it only problem is on my vehicles when you press next it doesnt update the song on dashboard of them. Update that and will change to 5 stars. Vehicles used is 2012 gmc Sierra and 2011 Acura TL if that helps at all.

Simple, elegant, classic

A beautiful way to listen.

Amazing design

I am a huge fan of dieter rams work and good to see someone understand the concept of clean design. Thanks for this beautiful app.

No iTunes Match support

Wasted a buck to find out this doesnt allow me to play a single song.

Doesnt Work!

I have a iPhone 4. My software is iOS 6.1.2, which is up to date. I added songs, ranked them, went to play and...nothing happened. It displays the song title but the time always stays at 0:00. I was really excited for this app. Please fix.

Good but flawed...

Not a bad app but needs iTunes matching and playlist support, great design though.

Good & Bad

Best looking music player out there - Id pay a buck just to look at it... Unfortunately thats about all I can do with it since it wont allow me to add podcasts (the only audio Im interested in playing on my iPhone) Having this app be Universal + podcast support would be an EASY 5 stars - and Id even force it on my friends whether they liked it or not.

Locks up immediately

This app looks wonderful, and I wished it worked, but as soon as I load my library into it itll play a couple songs and then freeze until I remove it and reinstall it.

Amazing concept

But really just a concept, need to be able to look at my whole iTunes library, and it MUST support AIRPLAY, this is NOT an option! I AM PATIENTLY AWAITING UPDATES!!! ...PATIENTLY!!!!

Beautifully done

Great, clean app with awesome aesthetics; Dieter Rams fans should be proud. Dont know what the other guy is talking about but AirPlay works great on my iPhone with it.

Inspired by Dieter Rams, but not nearly as functional as his work.

While I can definitely appreciate the hat tips to Dieter Rams, the simple minimalism, the plastic skeumorphism, and the beautiful elegance, this app does not do justice to Rams designs because it fails to meet the basic qualifications of functionality. It can do plenty of things, sure, but it doesnt feel natural, pleasant, or easy. I shouldnt have to sift through my music to pick the songs I want to add to this playlist. I should likewise be able to tap "stop" instead of twirling an unnecessary dial. Theres also not a volume control, something which would have actually made sense to make a skeumorphic control. This app is interesting to explore and play with, but its a novelty, and nothing more.

Ridiculous

Simply ridiculous. Not even that well done. Rams would never design a digital interface that looks and is supposed to act as a physical object would.

A little too simple

Not many options for sorting songs, selecting albums, etc. Also I wish it was radio-capable.

Looks nice, but...

No volume control that Ive found, the names of songs and artists are tiny (meaning you cant see whats playing while driving or doing anything other than staring intently at your phone), and the rating system is in my opinion just as unnecessary as the rating system in iTunes or the built-in iOS music player. This app is very much form over function. What works well in the physical world doesnt necessarily work well in the electronic world.
